wisps of cloud drift across a clear.....

blue sky this early morning. The last few weeks have been hectic with work going to Porthminster Gallery for their Summer Showcase and then Connections at Cupola Gallery Sheffield. A window display  takes thought and work to ensure the right feel for the occasion. The Tour de France came to Yorkshire and so a celebratory feel was required. Villages fete's and Well Dressing events take place up and down the country  in Summer so  that set the tempo and mood. Bunting was made using swatches of scraps  was it bunting or flags  one was left to ponder. A podium for the winner and a champions cup. A chandalier of lampshades stitched and sewn meant the celebrations could go on till late! Squirrel watching closely from the corner whilst Empire bird offered rides in her truck. Chickens flapping everywhere fearful of being sold, a picket fence kept the crowds at bay and the ducks safe and sound.............
